As the title of the blog says I finally got my very own PS3!  So far games I have are SFIV and Fat Princess.  Planning on getting a few more games soon.  Also a fight stick were I'm going to do a very special mod.

Ah...another year and another Comic-Con, what more can I say?  It was my first time in about...I think five years that I decided not to work the convention as I usually did.  Which I think was actually a good move.  I was able to enjoy the convention and yes even though I had to brave the dealers floor I did so and was rewarded.  By my count I was able to grab each and every cloth bag they had at the WB booth, a very nice Dr. Who bag, and twelve shirts (there was only one shirt that I really wanted but not able to get...).  Not too shabby if say so myself.  I was also able to do a lot more than I usually do at the con.  One of which was being able to hang out with various friends and making many new ones.  I was able to meet up with some Capcom Unity peeps and was able to score a bunch of Monster Hunter swag (as many of you know it's one of my current obsessions) and the exclusive Comic-Con missions.

This year I was also able to get more sketches in my sketchbook than I've ever had before at the DC booth.  I got the female Tangent version of the Creeper (by Cliff Chiang), Superman, Batman: Death Mask (by Yoshinori Natsume), Joker (by Bobby Timony), Guy Gardner with the bowl cut (by Chris Samnee), President Lex Luthor, Kid Flash (Tiny Titans style), and even got Geoff John to draw the Black Lantern symbol and sign some stuff.  Had a blast armoring up and hanging out with fellow Mandalorian Mercs members and fellow steampunks thoughout the convention.  I was even able to be one of the mandos working security detail for the Slave Leia photoshoot.  During my roaming of the convention floor one of the artists in the artist alley even did a nice skitch of me in my steampunk finery.  I so wish my scanner didn't go AWOL on me so I can share this kick ass picture with everybody.

One of the real stand out booths of this year I gotta say was the Heroes booth which wasn't set up inside the hall but outside.  It was an awesome carnival with free popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy.  They even featured an array of carnival games where players can win keychains and raffle tickets for tee shirts, an exclusive Hiro samurai sword letter opener, and even signed scripts.  The only real negative thing I gotta say about this year's Comic-Con is now far people who go and cross the line to score the Comic-Con exclusive Green Lantern Action Figures.  But overall I gotta say this has been a very awesome Comic-Con so...BIG THUMBS UP!!!
