I an not to thrilled with all the people saying how the halloween contest results are not fair, or that it was set up.
My boyfriend (Dhalsim) has apologized numorous times about winning first place, and has even thought about forfieting the prize and 1st place. He shouldnt have to. He won because he has the most amazing costume. It doesnt matter that he just joined because guess what? How would he know theres a costume contest going on? We both have been on this site before, but never had a reason to actually make an account. We saw the contest and decided to try. Neither one of us expected to win.
And, I was with him on halloween, and we were both in costume. If it really bugs people not having proof we were dressed up as our characters on halloween, I will personally upload video from halloween when they are done! BTW, all except for Dans picture were from cons.... take a closer look people.

We realize that "cosplayers" might seem to have an advantage, but when you think about it, it's really just that cosplayers are prepping for Halloween all year. Why shouldn't all that extra work and prep count?

Yes, I saw some suggested rules for the next contest, and honestly I would argee to some of them, or at least request that the rules be more clear, but it is what it is. And I dont know if people are going to just walk away with prizes and never get on again, but I can say for myself and Dhalsim, we are not. Again, weve both been on the website before.
If the mods felt it was unfair, they wouldnt have chosen Dhalsim or myself to be winners.
How cute. I'll do and say whatever I like thanks. The fact that the "mods" gave that Dan costume 3rd place proves they at the very least, slightly retarded.
VegaI recently singed up to this site too, to display my HALLOWEEEN pictures of my costume. I didn't even know about the contest until people starting commenting on my page telling me to sign up.
On the other hand, you two jerks joined specifically for the Halloween contest and to top it off submitted pics that weren't even from Halloween. Far as I'm concerned, you both cheated. Hell, if that's the way to enter the contest I'll go have some professional pics taken now and submit them next year ... oh wait, I'd be an a*hole if I did that.
